"I would like Pride Press too to educate those who don't know, unite those who feel without community, and understand those who may be different"

PRIDE PRESS STORY

Pride Press came about in 2025, I had just moved back to my hometown, I was 24, broke, I was struggling to finish school on time, and I was honestly feeling lonely. Now, as depressing as that may sound, it was the right motivation for me to get myself moving. I have always considered myself to be a major humanitarian, and I really do care deeply about others, but the hard truth is, many people do not care about me or the community I am a part of, and if it were their way, we would not exist.  I wanted to make another outlet where people could voice themselves, share their story, all as a means to educate those outside the community. The thing many people struggle to realize is that we are all human, we are all complex, we are all different, the human experience is the most interesting yet overlooked experience of all. The emotions we have, our feelings, expression, our physicality, the limits we have or don't have, it is all so beautiful to see. We will never live in a perfect world, and we have never had one in history, my only hope for Pride Press is that it serves another outlet for people to express and who they are with the rest of the world. Pride Press job is to educate the world on LGBT+ individuals, and not only that but with The Humanoid added in, we will also dive into what it means to be human, the good, the bad, and the ugly. The world is not slowing down any time soon, we must continue to learn about our neighbors, after all, we may be separated my borders, but we all share this world together, I would hate for someone to feel like an alien.
