PRIDE PRESS STORY
My name is Eric James Martinez, currently 25 years old in 2026, I came up with Pride Press at the beginning of 2025 after just moving back home for the 2nd time. Struggling to find motivation to start on my goals, I decided to start on something I knew I was confident in, writing and storytelling, two things I've always exceled at. Pride Press was not random; I noticed a GAP in the way LGBT+PEOPLE were expressed in media, Pop-culture & representation, both of which are important, but I wanted to bridge an education gap too, many non-lgbt+ identifying individuals still understood little to nothing about lgbt+ people, our history, our experiences, our thought processes, and I wanted to make something where those people could "step into our world" for a little while.
